Marvel’s original Eternals has officially changed its title

The Phase Four movie gets a slight update.


Marvel Studios has conveyed a very slight update on its up and coming Eternals film as it gets an official title change.

Walt Disney Studios has announced an updated schedule of premiere dates of its forthcoming movies throughout the next eight years, and in among the list of motion pictures is the confirmation that the film in the past known as The Eternals will presently follow the guidance of Justin Timberlake’s Sean Parker in The Social Network and drop “the”.

One thing hasn’t changed that is Eternals’ premiere date, with the Marvel film despite everything expected to drop in cinemas on February 12, 2021.

Created by Chinese producer Chloé Zhao, Eternals will be the second film delivered in Marvel’s Phase Four and stars Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee and Gemma Chan.

The film gets after the events of Avengers: Endgame and will present another group of superheroes to the MCU, as a gang of old aliens who have been living on Earth stealthily for thousands of years are constrained out of the shadows by a sudden misfortune and must rejoin against humankind’s most old foe, The Deviants.

Earlier this year, Salma Hayek opened up about the film, wherein she plays the groups head Ajak, and her co-stars, saying that Angelina Jolie was destined to be a superhuman.

“Most of us [Eternals] resemble mavericks and we’re all superheroes, and I get the chance to be the leader,” she included.

“That sounds truly fitting! Indeed, why not? We should go! It simply caused me to feel like, ‘Possibly they’re accomplishing something different.’ And they are.”

The film wrapped shooting by February of this current year, however its premiere date was later postponed after Marvel pushed back the arrival of Black Widow because of the pandemic.
